About Citadel

A persistent memory layer for your AI assistant.

The problem

Every time you start a new conversation with an AI assistant, it forgets everything. Your projects, your decisions, your preferences — gone. You end up re-explaining the same context over and over, and the AI can only ever help you with what fits in a single conversation.

What Citadel does

Citadel is a personal knowledge base that your AI assistant can read and write to. It remembers your projects, tracks your decisions, and keeps your to-do list — so every conversation picks up where the last one left off.

  • Remember the context of your projects so you don't have to re-explain them
  • Store decisions, notes, and reference material your AI can look up mid-conversation
  • Track tasks and todos linked to your projects
  • Let your AI update its own knowledge as you work together

Connecting your AI

Citadel speaks MCP — a standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT connect to external tools and data sources.

Once Citadel is running, connecting your AI takes about 30 seconds. Your Citadel URL is:

http://citadel.massyn.net
Claude (claude.ai)

Go to Settings › Integrations › Add MCP Server, paste in your Citadel URL, and follow the prompts.

ChatGPT

Go to your GPT configuration, add Citadel as a connector, paste in your Citadel URL, and follow the prompts.

Your AI now has memory.
